Aspirus St. Luke鈥檚 Volunteer Memorial Scholarship

For students enrolled in an accredited healthcare program at 暗网禁区 which leads to a career providing direct patient care. Must complete one semester of academic work in program before applying. Cumulative GPA of 3.0.

The Chief John Raaflaub Memorial Firefighter Scholarship Fund helps students from Douglas County pursue careers in firefighting, and especially at the Superior Fire Department. Must be attending Lake superior College and field of study must be Firefighting.

Grant range: $3,000 for up to two years ($6,000 total)

Last Mile Education Fund

Available for community college students in cyber pathways. Funding can be used for things such as buying groceries for the semester, rent, utilities, certification costs, etc.

3 levels of grants:

  • Emergency Mini grants 鈥 up to $595
  • Bridge Grants – $600-$3,000
  • Last Mile grants – up to $10,000

  • FALL: March 1st 鈥 May 1st for nine (9) different scholarships administered through the LeadMN organization

MN Society of Medical Assistants (MSMA)

For: applicants attending an approved medical assistant program in Minnesota

Scholarships ranging from up to $1,200 for part time and up to $2,500 for full time are given each year to students enrolled in community or technical college.

  • The applicant must be currently enrolled in or accepted into a program at a Minnesota State institution.
  • The applicant must be a union member or the child, grandchild or spouse of a union member.
  • The applicant must be a racial/ethnic group member. “Racial/ethnic group member” is defined by the Minnesota State office of Equity and Inclusion (and for this scholarship) to include Black/African American, Chicano/a or Latino/a, Asian/Pacific, and American Indian/Native American/Alaskan Native.

North Dakota Professional Aviation Mechanics Association (NDPAMA)

For any person interested in the aerospace industry, either enrolled, or with the intent of enrolling in FAA part 147 aircraft maintenance technician training program. Open to 1st or 2nd year students as well as students starting within next 12 months.
